For the time being this is goodbye. I haven’t truly blogged in a few years as I’m quickly approaching my 50s. (Yikes! When did that happen? I’ll be 49 by the end of 2023.)While beauty products still interests me, there are younger people whose creativity & voices are stronger & more entertaining than my own. The Daily Mail is reporting that a 19-year-old college student, Jade Inglis of Cambridge England, used Garnier's Micellar Water Oil Infused and ended up having a reaction to it that caused her eye to "glue shut". She feared she could end up blind due to having a chemical burn to her eyeballs.

Back in early or mid-December, I found out that Jeffree Star and Morphe's long-awaited brush collaboration was finally in the US. According to the free and open import records, at least three shipments arrived in the US in early December and at least one arriving in mid-November. Beauty Truth Sleuth, a cosmetic investigative reporter on YouTube, just released the video above. Last month I stated that I suspected (as many others did) that BECCA Cosmetics issued Morphe Brushes a cease and desist over the package design. This led to Morphe pulling the palettes in June on the basis that there were quality control issues.

Just a quick follow up post to yesterday's post.
ULTA Beauty is selling the Vault palettes individually for $15 each or all four for $60. If you go to Morphe's site you can buy all four for less ($49). That said, let's talk about batch codes.
What is a batch code? Cosmetics sold are usually tagged with some kind of batch code or lot # to identify the product. The company is shady and manipulative at best, liars at worst. They have copied other products in the past from Viseart to Ben Nye, and many other true professional brands. On top of that, they work with their number one shiller, Jaclyn Hill.

I need to preface this by saying I'm not going to sugarcoat things in this blog post in order to "be nice" for a few reasons which will come clear within this blog post.
To become a professional makeup artist it takes work, dedication and knowledge as well as talent and the skills to do the job. This is a SERVICE industry those who work in this industry are "the help" (as Kevin James Bennett Zadidollhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17710548585368350489noreply@blogger.com0
